Ritu Bhalla completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in India. Before moving to the U.S., Ritu worked as a lecturer at the Ayurvedic Medical College in India. She worked as a medical officer in an Arthritis clinic besides having her own practice for 4 years in India. She has over 20 years of experience in Ayurveda of which more than 7 years has been in DFW area. Ritu has been a guest speaker at University of North Texas at Dallas for the last couple of semesters, introducing Ayurveda to students as part of Stress Reduction through Movement program. She conducts monthly workshops and webinars on various topics that Ayurveda can help. She has taught and continues to teach at Collin County College as a part of the Counselor Education Program. She was a speaker at Texas Medical Association Convention for CME on Holistic Medicine for 2014&2015. She has been invited as a key note speaker to introduce Ayurveda by numerous companies in Dallas. She is an associate member of TIPS(Texas Indo-American Physicians’ Society).

Vaidya Meenakshi Gupta, an Ayurveda Vaidya, trainer and teacher of international repute, pursued her MD Ayurveda from The National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, India.
She is a gold medalist and is a highly accomplished Ayurveda and Panchakarma Specialist. She has been practicing Ayurveda for the last 18 years. Her expertise includes Ayurveda, Panchakarma, Diet, life style recommendations and Ayurveda wellness education. She integrates Ayurveda principles with Ayurvedic diet and life styles in her daily practice .she has done intense 3 years of clinical research on Ayurvedic herbs in Enuresis & more than 6 years of research on ADHD, Learning Disabilities in Children. The research experience includes literacy research as well as clinical trials with Ayurvedic herbs on Enuresis, ADHD & learning disorders.
She has more than 15 years of extensive international experience in design & delivery of Ayurveda courses as Ayurveda Cosmetology, Ayurveda Herbology, Medical Yoga, Panchakarma therapy. She organizes regular workshops & courses on various topics of Ayurveda, training workshops for hands on training in Panchakarma courses. She has more than 5 years of extensive teaching experience at Ayurveda Colleges in India and has 18 years of clinical experience with Ayurvedic herbs & Panchakarma.
She has authored several papers and writes regular column in several e magazines, health magazines along with various Radio talks & newspaper articles. She is member of the fellowship Board of the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (AAPNA) and NAMA. She is member of Research Method committee for council for Ayurveda Research .She is coeditor, director of Ayurveda Mantra Magazine and Senior Editor of Journal of Ayurveda and Holistic Medicine (JAHM).
Gauri Junnarkar MS, RD, LD, CDE, BAMS
Gauri Junnarkar is a highly accomplished Ayurveda Practitioner, Panchakarma Specialist, Registered Licensed Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda from the University of Mumbai. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. Gauri has more than 14 years’ experience in the field of Ayurveda. She is a dedicated nutrition professional with 9+ years’ experience as registered/licensed Dietitian and 5+ years’ experience as a certified diabetes educator.
Gauri’s expertise includes Ayurveda, Panchakarma, Nutrition and Diabetes education. She integrates Ayurveda principles with Nutrition in her daily practice. She provides Ayurveda and Nutrition consults, workshops, cooking classes, presentations, webinars, lunch and learns and grocery store healthy food tours. She teaches nutrition courses to undergraduate students at TCCD and works as a Certified Diabetes Educator at diabetes center in Dallas Fort Worth area. She is currently working on becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Gauri’s background in Ayurveda inspired her to do her master’s thesis research on “Dietary Curcumin (phytochemical in Turmeric) and its effect in Melanoma (skin cancer)”, which was selected at the national conference on Experimental Biology under “Diet and Cancer” and also at the Texas Dietetic Association conference. She has given a number of presentations on Ayurveda to faculty and students at Texas Woman’s University and various dietitian associations in Dallas. She has presented webinars to medical faculty at University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. Gauri has provided lunch n learn presentations to various corporations and businesses. She is a motivational speaker. She is a faculty member at International University of Yoga and Ayurveda, American Institute of Ayurveda and Tarrant County College. Gauri is a committee member for AAPNA (Ayurvedic Professionals of North America). She has been a past member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and American Association of Diabetes Educator. Gauri loves to writes articles on Ayurveda and nutrition.
